Terrain Project: Autumn in Ithillian Hills

I have been working on a few other projects lately, but there are still a few items I want to do for my Autumn in Ithillian terrain project.  Today I have a couple of terrain pieces that were very quick to do because they are just adaptations of commercially finished terrain to make them match the Autumn theme of the table. Not every single piece of terrain has to envolve a ton of work, there are a ton of nice pieces you can buy that are already finished or almost finished pieces.

King's Cliff
The first piece is the King's Cliff from a German website called Ziterdes. This is a hard foam hill that comes painted and flocked with grass. I just added the autumn leaves.

More after the jump.

King's Cliff
You can see the "King" from this angle. Unfortunately it seems this piece is not listed on the companies website any longer.

Large Rocky Hill
The second piece is the Large Rocky Hill from Gale Force 9, part of their Battlefield in a Box line. This is a plastic hill that comes painted. I just added the grass flock and the autumn leaves.

So this project is getting close to being "done" in that there is almost enough  terrain to densely cover a 4'x6' table.

Things left on the to do list include:
- Adding autumn leaves to the Gale Force 9 rivers and  ponds much like the hills in this post.
- Making some bridges to cross those rivers.
- Some kind of large Lord of the Rings looking monument

Thanks for reading. Let me know what you think in the comments.
